“The most exciting benefit from the coaching was the immediate identification of a personal negative belief system that I didn’t even realize existed!
From this discovery I became determined to identify other areas of my life where I wasn’t living up to my potential. Brent asked probing questions which helped me be really clear about where I wanted to go, what I wanted to achieve, and how to get there. His ability to challenge me when I began to return to “comfortable” bad habits helped me re-focus and stay dedicated to positive growth.
Brent’s training approach is aimed at success. His detailed interview at the outset included not only my goals for my personal fitness, but also my recent history with working out. The initial assessment established a baseline for me to improve upon.
My commitment to stay injury free for more than two months was realized with a steady strength program that was sufficiently challenging without being boring. Brent was great about keeping me from jumping to the next level too soon which has resulted in stress injuries in the past, yet I celebrated many strengths/milestones at my three month mid-point which has only fueled my determination to keep working to my goals.
To keep these goals alive, I am registered in two races that I would not have considered before. While I know that my times will not be legendary, I am excited about the chance to demonstrate my new level of fitness and hang out with some great people.
Thanks for all your help, Brent!”
